Today is a special day for Star Wars fans. In addition to being thirty years since the release of the first Star Wars film, A New Hope, it is also the first Universal Day Of The Jedi.
As I am only twenty, it is not possible for me to recall what it was like when the first movie came out; I was almost ten years away from being born at that stage. But even now, Star Wars is an important thing for me. Although I am only a recent convert, I am a strong one. Not as strong as J.K., for example, but I am getting there!
So according to the radio and Stuff.co.nz, George Lucas is hinting at a new Star Wars film, with the Daily Telegraph suggesting that “the film would be set at the time of the Old Republic, when the Jedi regained control of the galaxy from the Dark Lords of the Sith.” So, with this announcement and the confirmed live action TV series, Star Wars fans still have plenty to look forward to.
Speaking of looking forward to new Star Wars things, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a cross-platform video game to take place in between Revenge Of The Sith and A New Hope. Once again, I wish I had a console. Especially since Shaak Ti is a character.
