Greek Myth is Mad(Libs)!

Greek mythology is crazy! Well, mythology in general is crazy (y hello thar canon Horus/Set moments), but sometimes it reads kinda like a madlib.

We’ll take Zeus (affectionately nicknamed as “Zeusy McRapesALot” by my friends and I back at uni) and his great exploits.

Once upon a time, the great god Zeus was _______________ when he spotted _________________. Being the king of the gods, and able to do whatever he pleased, he decided to seduce ___________________. Taking on the form of ____________________ he proceeded to ________________.

See? Now let’s try it with some actual examples.

Once upon a time, the great god Zeus was hanging about Olympus when he spotted Europa. Being the king of the gods, and able to do whatever he pleased, he decided to seduce Europa. Taking on the form of a bull he proceeded to carry her away on his back.

It’s fun for the whole family!

Once upon a time, the great god Zeus was playing on his Wii when he spotted the pizza boy. Being the king of the gods, and able to do whatever he pleased, he decided to seduce said delivery boy. Taking on the form of a fair young maiden he proceeded to take the pizza boy for all his worth.

    Like that?

Zeus doesn’t need to turn into a girl to get a pizza boy!

I think that happened, anyway. Ganymede, maybe?
