During the night, she meets a fairy who takes her to an old faun in the center of the labyrinth. He tells her she’s a princess, but must prove her royalty by surviving three gruesome tasks. If she fails, she will never prove herself to be the the true princess and will never see her real father, the king, again.

“Me Fail English? That’s Unpossible!”

I think the Internet is slowly turning me into Ralph Wiggum. Well, perhaps not quite Ralph, but something very scary indeed.

Those who speak to me regularly on YIM will know that I am quite prone to using famous internet phrases - all your base, in ur base, I has a… that sort of thing. Now, that would be fine, after all this is the Interwebs. But I have recently noticed that the slang I use from the Interwebs dialect has started to creep into my everyday use as well. When I am offline.

An example would be a few days ago when I said, in response to my mother telling me something, “Awesomesauce.” Mum obviously had no idea what I was on about, and I managed to fob her off with some explanation of awesomesauce meaning that something “is so awesome you can pour it all over something else (like you would a sauce), and thus the second thing would become awesome too.” At least, I think that was along the lines of what I said. Either that or it was short for “awesome as tomato sauce.”

And I still do not know what meaning, if any, there is to “awesomesauce.” Read on…
